About the Blog
So much for Objective Journalism. Don’t bother to look for it here - not under any byline of mine; or anyone else I can think of. With the possible exception of things like box scores, race results, and stock market tabulations, there is no such thing as Objective Journalism. The phrase itself is a pompous contradiction in terms.”

Born in January ‘09 this site will do nothing more but bring you my thoughts, theories and feelings on the world of sport. I will not hide the fact that as a fan of sports I support certain teams and athletes and as such might well favor them without apologies. The blog is a hobby and therefore I cannot promise how often I will actually write.
I was born and raised in Northern Ireland for 26-years before upping sticks and immigrating to Toronto, Canada, where in the face of all the major sports on T.V. and the ability to watch quite a few in person I kick started this sports blog.
Along with writing about and watching sports I also like to take part. I cycle big miles over the summer months and kick a little Football (real Football, not the American stuff) and in the winters grind it out in the gym and play a little Hockey on the pond.
I can also be found on Twitter with regular posts appearing on the right hand sidebar.
