F1 and its rule changes

F1 2010 | Monday 8 February 2010 by Richard Blayney

Every year these days it seems F1 is changing the rules. A lot of the time for the better, sometimes for the bizarre, but none the less always worth looking into in order to see what you can expect from the year ahead. This year the changes are a bit less than the year before but still dramatic enough that it will have big effects and could still allow for a surprise or two from who is good and who is bad come the Australian Grand Prix.

But saving me from breaking them down is ex-ITV F1 commentator, James Allen who on his top F1 blog looks at some of the rule changes heading into this coming season.

Winter testing is in full swing and any news coming out of that I’ll be sure to write about, but unlike other years, winter testing in full swing 2010 is much less exciting as winter testing say five years ago. Teams are limited by what they can do, but still there is bits and bobs of interesting news breaking from time to time. I’ll keep my eyes pealed and if I appear to be too slow on the draw then Allen’s blog will surely keep you right up to speed.
