Barrie force a fifth game

Hockey | Thursday 26 March 2009 by Richard Blayney

It sets up a game five, again in Barrie, tomorrow night. Read More»

Majors win again to set up the sweep

Hockey | Monday 23 March 2009 by Richard Blayney

Following the enjoyment of Friday nights game I headed over to watch the Majors second home game of the playoffs and third in this first round series against Barrie. While the crowd turn out was poor for a playoff game the goals were a plenty and they came thick and fast from the Majors as we were treated to 10 games in total by the end of the sixty minutes. The next game is back in Barrie with the Colts requiring a win to stay alive. Should they get it they will have one more at home before a potential game six and seven in Mississauga. I would expect the series to be long done by then.
